CURTIS A. STOVER

Curtis A. Stover, 61, of Fort Dodge, died Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home, surrounded by his lov­ing fam­ily, following a courageous two-and-a-half-year battle with colon cancer.

A service honoring Curtis’ life will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 21, at Northfield Church of Christ with the Rev. Dale Harlow officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Rockwell City. Visitation is 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Northfield Church of Christ. Attendees are encouraged to wear royal blue to the service. Memorials may be directed to the discretion of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Curtis is survived by his wife Laura; his children, Martha (Mike) Mericle, and their children, Brinley and Landrey, Fort Dodge; Joel (Danielle) Stover, and their children, Kierstin, Lilly and Maddy, Fort Dodge; Andrew (Laurel) Stover, Iowa City; his siblings, Robert (Paula) Stover, Muscatine; Jon (Amy) Stover, Norwalk; Mary (Brian) Schafer, Sheldon; his cousin Lisa (Phil) Seeberg, Naperville, Ill.; his aunt Barbara Kennan and his in-laws Julia (B.J.) Ukena; his sister-in-law Linda (Scott) Seeger, Milford; four nieces, seven nephews and faithful dog Nukem. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Ruth Stover.
