ANTHAN F. BARTA

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2022, at Fulton Lutheran Church in Roelyn with Rev. Jim Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Fulton Lutheran Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Laufersweiler Funeral Home.

Anthan is survived by his brother-in-law, Lance Peed of Somers, nephews Layth (Shanda) and Logan Peed, and niece Maddison Peed; great nieces and nephews Lexee, Aleah, Layla, and Ayden.

He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Dorothy (Busse) Barta and sister Lisa Peed.

Anthan Floyd Barta was born July 4, 1965, in Fort Dodge. He was raised in Callender and graduated from Prairie Valley High School in 1983. After graduation, Anthan began farming the family farm near Callender. He was a member of Fulton Lutheran Church.
