ELDON ‘DOC’ FAINE

WEBSTER CITY — Eldon ‘Doc’ Dom­inic Faine, of Webster City, IA, age 98, passed away peacefully at Friend­ship Haven nursing home, surrounded by his family.

Beloved husband of Lucille, his wife of over 50 years; loving father of Paul (Rosie) Faine and his grandchildren, Jack Faine and Joshua Faine. He was preceded in death by his wife, brother Fred Faine of Storm Lake, Greeno Faine of Fort Dodge, Olga Holman of Las Vegas, and Essie Vanek of Las Vegas. He is survived by his sister Lilian Stoner of Rochester, MN.

He was a graduate of Fort Dodge High School where he was a 1942 state wrestling champion. He was a WWII veteran serving in the army in the Marshall Islands. He worked as an engineer on the M&StL Railway where he met and married the love of his life “Lucy” in 1949. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic and worked independently as a chiropractor for over 50 years. Outside of work, and most importantly to him, Eldon was a loving and devoted father and husband.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 11th, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Webster City. Family visitation at the church will start at 10 a.m. and a reception for family and friends will immediately follow.
