James “Jim” Leo Ruddy, 70, passed away November 22, 2021 at his home in Polk City, IA.

Visita­tion will be held from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. on Mon­day, November 29, 2021 at Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd) in Ankeny, IA. There will be a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. following visitation. Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at St. Paul Lutheran Church (1100 SE Sharon Dr.) in Ankeny, IA. Burial will immediately follow at Ankeny Memorial Gardens.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, LuAnn; sons, Jason Ruddy and Joseph (Jenny) Ruddy; daughter, Jennifer (David) Chapman; and four grandchildren, Macy, Josie, Conor, and Lily.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ankeny, IA, North Polk West Elementary in Polk City, IA, or John Stoddard Cancer Center (Unity Point) in Des Moines, IA.
