Ronald George Pyle was born April 12, 1945 at Eagle Grove, Iowa to George S. Pyle and Bernice M. Pyle. He graduated with the class of 1963 at Eagle Grove. He wrestled at Iowa State University. He met Deena M. Dodge at Iowa State University. They were united in marriage on December 24, 1967. They moved to multiple small towns in Iowa throughout their marriage and retired in Ankeny Iowa to be closer to their 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
He cherished his time fishing with his family and friends at Gull Rock Lake Canada and Clear Lake Iowa. He enjoyed talking about wrestling for Iowa State University, catching walleye and growing vegetables in his garden.
Ronald George Pyle died at Walnut Ridge in Clive, Iowa on September 13, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his father, George S. Pyle.
Interment of his remains were held in a private family gathering at Rose Hill Cemetery Eagle Grove September 25, 2021.
Survivors include his Mother Bernice M. Pyle of Eagle Grove, his wife Deena M. Pyle of Clive, his daughter Christie Navara and son-in-law Eric Navara of Urbandale, son Daron Pyle and daughter-in-law Crystal Pyle of West Des Moines, his daughter Ronda Villamagna and son-in-law Michael Villamagna of Ankeny, 5 grandchildren and his sister Bonnie Pyle of Ft Dodge.
