LISA A. PEED

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Fulton Lutheran Church in Roelyn. Burial will follow in Fulton Lutheran Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday at Laufersweiler Funeral Home in Fort Dodge.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Lance of Somers; children, Layth (Shanda) of Gowrie, Logan and Maddison of Somers; 4 grandchildren, Lexee, Aleah, Layla, and Ayden; and a brother, Anthan Barta of Callender.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Dorothy (Busse) Barta.

Lisa Ann Barta was born June 9, 1967 in Fort Dodge. She attended schools in Gowrie and graduated from Prairie High School. She then attended Iowa Central Community College and earned her Medical Assistant degree. She worked in the office of Dr. Cole and Dr. Birkett for over 27 years. On August 9, 1986, she was united in marriage to Lance Peed. The couple established their home in the Somers area.

Lisa enjoyed fishing. especially the family’s annual trip to Lake of the Woods and attending tractor pulls. She loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
