ROBERT W. PROCTOR

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 4, 2021 at Palmer Funeral Home, Gowrie. Burial will be in Gowrie Township Cemetery with military rites presented by the American Legion Peterson Post #431 of Gowrie. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Robert is survived by wife, Wilma Proctor of Gowrie; 6 daughters, Penny Graves; Kandy Proctor-Robinson, Melissa Smits of Lehigh; Patti Alfred of Fort Dodge; Allison Pingel of Stratford; Suzette (Ben) Dwight of Fort Dodge; 24 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob Graney and Clara Proctor

Robert W. Proctor was born August 7, 1942 in rural Clear Lake, Iowa. He graduated from Clear Lake High School and Hamilton Business College. He served in US Marines from 1959 till 1962. He was united in marriage to Wilma Gregerson July 3, 1986 in Fort Dodge. Robert drove truck most notably for 15 years for Smithway.
