CHRISTOPHER A. SCOTT

Christopher A. Scott, 48, of Fort Dodge, died Friday, August 20, 2021, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.

A service honoring Chris’ life will be 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 30, at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Austin Hill officiating. Visitation is 4:00 p.m. until service time Monday at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite Star Wars clothing in honor of Chris.

Chris is survived by his children, Samuel Scott, Jacqueline Scott, Cathrine Scott, Isabella Scott, Lilliana Scott, Colton Reed and Emma Reed; one grandchild Alyssa Muller; his parents, Rick and Sue Scott, his brother Eric (Ada) Scott; his fiance Angie Reed; and nieces and nephews.

Christopher Alan Scott, the son of Rick and Sue (Vaughn) Scott, was born September 28, 1972, in Portland, Oregon. Chris attended Fort Dodge schools and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1991. He also received his A.A. degree in auto mechanics from Iowa Central Community College. Chris was formerly employed as assistant manager at Domino’s Pizza and was currently employed as a mechanic for Dart/Midas in Fort Dodge.

Chris enjoyed working on his 1966 Austin Healy Sprite, paintball battles and he was an avid fan of Star Wars. He was a proud member of the Central Garrison of the 501st Legion.
