JAMES MCNAMAR
James McNamar, 50, died July 20, 2021, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. Private services are entrusted to Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
James Lee McNamar was born January 24, 1971, in Fort Dodge. He graduated from Iowa Falls in 1989. James worked several jobs in Iowa Falls, Fort Dodge and Des Moines.
Survivors include his daughters, Ivy of Mason City, IA, and Madison of Reno, NV; his mother Mary Ann McNamar, his brother Tom of Washington; and special friend Christine Bartell. He was preceded in death by his father Don, his maternal grandparents Mary and Leo Franey, and paternal grandparents Rita and Dale McNamar.
