MARGIE STACY

Margie was born May 28, 1930 in Moorland, Iowa to Fred and Margaret (Halligan) Sullivan. On February 2, 1947, she was united in marriage to Richard “Dick” Stacy. They made their home in Moorland, where they raised their four children. In 1967 they moved to Clive, Iowa.

Margie is survived by her children, Kathy (Bob) Jondle; Diane (John) Bass and Peggy (George) Gillespie; six grandchildren, Machelle McClendon, Robert (Amy) Jondle, Jacob (Melissa) Bass, Michael (Kelsey) Gillespie, Jason (Kelly) Bass and Christopher (Bethany) Gillespie; 12 great grandchildren, Brittney McClendon, Ashley McClendon, Jonathon Miller, Beth Jondle, Paizley Jondle, Logan Bass, Kaelyn Bass, William Gillespie, Nicholas Gillespie, Carson Bass, Abigail Gillespie and Oliver Gillespie; two great great grandchildren, Klay McClendon and Stetson McClendon; her sister, Shirley Kesterson; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Sullivan as well as many nieces, nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dick; her son, Jim and her siblings, Robert, John and Fred Sullivan and Rosemary Thompson.

The family will receive friends from 5-7pm, Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Iles Westover Chapel. A vigil service will be held at 6:30 pm.
