JOEL D. RICHMAN

A visitation will be Tuesday, April 13, 2021, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. There will be a Celebration of Life following at Rides Bar and Grill.

Joel is survived by his wife, Pati, children, Cody, Mathew, Brittany, Brooke, mother, Dona Richman, father, Bill Richman, and his wife, Gail, siblings, Jim Richman, Jerry Richman, Jay Richman, Justin Richman, Tracy Wingerson, Terry Wingerson, and Tami Coiner, along with his grandkids and many nieces and nephews.

Joel and Pati were married on December 22, 2000, in Centerville, Iowa. The way Pati tells the story, “Joel fell in love with her truck and that she was the bonus.”

Joel loved to spend time with all his family and friends, whether it was grabbing a couple beers, playing pranks on people, or just having a great time enjoying life. Joel loved the Miami Dolphins. As Hootie and the Blowfish said, “the dolphins make me cry.”

While he never got to see Miami win a Super Bowl, he always said, “I hit the jackpot with Pati.” The two of them loved to hunt, fish, camp, watch football, or light bonfires. Joel will be greatly missed by everyone, if you could leave a comment, share a story, it would be greatly appreciated for all his family and friends to see.
