GERALDINE FISHER
Geraldine Ann Fisher of Sunrise Beach Missouri died on Saturday April 10th, 2021 at Lake Reginal Hospital in Osage Beach. Gerry was born in Estherville, IA on August 17th, 1951 to Otto and Catherine (Pettit) Popp. She grew up in Greenville IA as a child and later graduated from Manson High School in 1970. While living in Fort Dodge, Gerry met Barry Fisher and were united in marriage on September 9th, 1972. Gerry and Barry later moved to Paton where they lived for 35 years before retiring to Sunrise Beach on the Lake of the Ozarks.
Gerry enjoyed reading, playing words with friends, fishing, boating, sewing, baking, and spending time with her dog Allie.
Gerry is survived by her husband of 49 years, Barry M Fisher of Sunrise Beach, MO; one son, Patrick M Fisher of Gowrie; daughter, Kasi M Fisher of Estherville; three grandchildren, Kohl M Fisher of Boone, Samantha J Graham of Grinnell, and Becca A Fisher of Estherville; two siblings, Jimmy Valentine of West Des Moines, and Shirley Weimer of Fort Dodge; several nieces and nephews to which she was known as Aunt Punky. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Duane Popp, and Darryl Popp.
