Two comforting thoughts:

1) I believe our spirit immediately leaves the body and is lifted up.

2) There are many difficult ways to move on but I believe a real blessing is to move on in your sleep.

Dad met him at the entrance. Nickolas Hirschberg graduated from Prairie Valley High School in 1991, received his bachelor of science at Purdue University in Lafayette, IN, in computer science and minor in psychology. He worked at Purdue as a database and web administrator.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and Dad (Larry, 3 years ago). He is survived by his mother Linda of Farnhamville, IA, sister Julie Birkenholtz and husband Alan from Prairie City, IA, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held sometime in May so all can be outside in Lafayette, IN. It will be a real joy to meet his friends.

Any memorials may be given to your special charity.

Nick would want you to stay positive, keep smiling and make each day special.
