Landon Mac Smith “Deno”, 23, died Monday, October 12, 2020.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2020, at the Fort Dodge Opera House. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. on Friday at Laufersweiler Funeral Home.

Landon is survived by his mother, Donna Smith; father, Jon White; siblings, Jordan, Ellie and Kolby White; nephew, Liam; grandparents, Delbert Smith of Bremerton, WA; Cindy White of Fort Dodge; aunt, Dana Smith-Lowe of Otho; uncles, Dustin Smith of Bremerton, WA, and Mike White of Fort Dodge.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Debbie Smith and grandfather, Jeffrey White.

Landon Mac Smith was born January 19, 1997, in Fort Dodge. He attended school in Fort Dodge. Landon worked as a fry cook for Community Tap and Pizza and Amigos Bar and Grill and later KG Roofing. Most recently Landon was studying to be an electrician at Iowa Central Community College and employed with Zoske Electric in Iowa Falls. He was excited about his upcoming internship in Colorado.

Deno’s charisma could be felt across a room. He had an infectious smile and laughed constantly. He enjoyed golfing and disc golf. Deno could be found enjoying a beer on a patio, cheering on his Pittsburgh Steelers, or raging at a dubstep concert. Deno’s friends were like family to him. He loved his family greatly and he will be missed deeply. Live and love like Deno, always.

In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
