THOMAS ALAN BAESSLER

Thomas (Tom) was born in Britt, Iowa, as the firstborn of a pair of twins. He is preceded in death by his mother Marvis (Torgerson) Baessler in 1964 and later, his father Wilton K. (Keith) Baessler in 1981.

Thomas was a loving, kind soul and a friend to all. He enjoyed music, the outdoors, painting, and other craft projects. He grew up in Renwick, Iowa, where he graduated from Boone Valley High School. He was often requested to share his beautiful voice at the weddings of family and friends and perhaps best loved for his acapella singing of the Lord’s Prayer.

Tom passed in Omaha, Nebraska, on September 12, 2020, following a truck accident in Blair, Nebraska.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 26th, at 2:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Renwick, Iowa, with fellowship following at the Renwick Community Center on Main Street.
