CALLENDER — Dolores E. Kruse 93, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at her home. Private Family Graveside Services will be 2:00 Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the Callender Cemetery with Pastor Greg Stano and Pastor Deb Stano officiating. Please bring a lawn chair for yourself if needed. Palmer Funeral Home, Gowrie is serving the family.

Delores is survived by her children, Paula Jurgensen of Callender, Alan (Sheila) Kruse of Prior Lake, MN, Jerry Kruse of Callender, and Renee (Bruce) Wafful of Clare; 12 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William J. Kruse; great-grandson Dustin Kruse; her parents, Henry and Julia (Urban) Fiala; sister Lois Ball; and brothers, Dale, Glenn, Robert, and Paul.

Dolores E. Fiala was born April 17, 1927 at Moorland and graduated from Moorland High School. On August 22, 1945 she was united in marriage to William J. Kruse. The couple established their home in Callender where she helped her husband at Kruse Electric & Plumbing. Dolores also was employed by the Prairie Community Hot Lunch Program in Callender. Dolores was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Sewing Group, Cake Decorating, and a former Den Mother for Cub Scouts.
