GOWRIE — Brad L. Monson 57, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Trinity Regional Medical Center, Fort Dodge. Private Family Services will be at a later date. A Public Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at the Palmer Funeral Home, Gowrie.

Brad is survived by his son Taylor (Erin) Monson of Fort Dodge; daughter Kaycee (Cody) Carlson of Gowrie; granddaughter Ellie Carlson; brother Brent (Sheri) Monson of Gowrie; Kelley Monson of Gowrie; his parents, Richard and Donna (Geisler) Monson of Gowrie; nephew Cory (Alicia) Turner of Waukee; great-niece Braelyn Turner; aunt Faye Cline of Webster City; and other relatives and friends.

Brad Lee Monson was born July 13, 1963 at Fort Dodge. He graduated from Prairie Community High School, with the Class of 1981. Brad was united in marriage to Kelley Carlson on April 20, 1985. The couple established their home in Gowrie. Brad loved farming, motorcycles, and especially his granddaughter Ellie, and being with his family and friends.
