LAURENS — Gerald M. McDaniel, age 85, of Laurens, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at the Laurens Care Center in Laurens, Iowa.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at the First Christian Church in Laurens, Iowa with Pastor Rita Cordell officiating.
Burial will be at Laurens Cemetery near Laurens, Iowa with military rites by the Laurens American Legion and VFW.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, Gerald’s family requests that memorials be made to the Laurens swimming pool project, in Gerald’s name.
