BRENDA BECKER

Brenda Jill Becker, 62, of Duncombe, died on Friday, March 20, 2020. A celebration of life will be held at a later date when large gatherings are all­owed. A pri­vate visitation will be held at Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Brenda was born on September 18, 1957 to Richard and Gloria (Fisher) Burkholder in Fort Dodge, IA. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1975. Brenda was united in marriage to Dennis Crouse in 1978. Brenda had two children with Dennis. After their divorce, Brenda was united in marriage to Dave Becker and she gained three step-daughters. Brenda loved her family beyond measure and enjoyed feeding people. Brenda owned This N That Country Store in Coalville, IA for almost 20 years. She then spent nearly 11 years working at Menards in Fort Dodge. Brenda loved helping people and had the most generous heart. Brenda was invested in her community and the people that lived in it. Brenda loved riding with Dave on their Harley and she loved spending quality time with her children and grandchildren, especially in the summer by the pool.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Dave Becker of Duncombe; her son, Richard (Shawna) Crouse of Fort Dodge and her daughters, Mandi (Scott) Kelley of Burnside, Ashley (Rambo) Holder of Fort Dodge, Magen Becker of Fort Dodge, and Tasha Becker of Fort Dodge. Brenda is also survived by her grandchildren, Malia, Alani, Lavin, Orion Crouse and Sam Lee, Joey, Jonathan, Jillian Kelley and Jacob Martinez, Kaden and Rylie Jo Holder, Raelynne Becker and Wyatt Rentz.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.
