BONNIE DOOLEY

Bonnie L. Dooley, 78, of Fort Dodge, died Thursday, February 20, 2020, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home, 923 1st Avenue South, with Major Rick Hamelund of the Salvation Army Church officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in North Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.brucesfuneralhome.com Bonnie was born April 13, 1941, in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Glenn and Helen (Blaha) Allbee. She attended school at home. In 1967, she was united in marriage to Donald “Don” Dooley in Fort Dodge. She attended class and worked at Iowa Central Industries for many years until her retirement. Bonnie enjoyed church and was a long time member of the Salvation Army Church. She also enjoyed community outings, movies, dining out and Adult Day at Friendship Haven where she participated in many events. She was a social butterfly with a strong faith. Bonnie is survived by her daughter: Dawn Fedkenheuer and husband Dennis of Fort Dodge; 4 grandchildren: Chelsea Pieczko and husband Anthony of Eagle Grove, IA, Kameron Clum and fiancee Kieanna of Fort Dodge, Zachary Clum of Fort Dodge and Brooklyn Clum of Fort Dodge; 1 great-granddaughter: Hazel Pieczko of Eagle Grove; nieces and nephews: Donnie Allbee, Judy McGee, Brenda Hill, Alan Allbee and Shelly Hoover; many cousins; and 2 special friends: Carol Carpenter and Travis Leiss. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1997; a brother: Don Allbee; and her dear friend & roommate: June Steward.
