Joseph Edward Lang, 80, Fort Dodge, died peacefully at the Fort Dodge Paula J. Baber Hospice Home on December 5th, 2019.

Funeral services will be held on Mon­day, December 9th at 11:00 AM at Corpus Christi Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating the Mass of Christian Burial.

Joe was born in Manson, Iowa where he grew up on his family’s farm before moving to Fort Dodge in 1977. Joe worked at Frontier Telephone for 45 years before retiring in 2001. Joe had a compassionate heart, a friendly smile, and giving spirit-family, friends and neighbors could always count on Joe for whatever they needed. Joe was most proud of his family and his eight grandchildren, spending most of his free time traveling with his wife to visit and vacation with them.

Joe is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margaret, their 3 children David Lang (Sharon), Ann Betten (Mark) and Jenny DuBore (Pat), eight grandchildren Katie, Anna, Joe, Zach, Noah, Carter, Sydney and Max and his five siblings.
