MARY ANN YOUNG

EMMETSBURG — Mary Ann Young, 87 of Emmetsburg died October 26 in Houston, Texas. Visitation will be Thursday, November 7, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a CD of A Rosary at 4:30 p.m. and a Parish Vigil Service at 5:00 p.m. at the Martin-Mattice Funeral Home in Emmetsburg.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, November 8, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Emmetsburg, officiated by Fr. Bill Schreiber. Inurnment will be at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Emmetsburg.

Survivors include her children, Ann Marie (Tom) of League City, TX, William Michael (Kari) of Minneapolis, MN, Ellen Frances of Houston, TX, James Andrew (Sherri) of North Pole, Alaska, and Susan Kathleen, Katy, TX. and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, her parents, two brothers, Fr Don Ries and Fr Richard Ries, and infant son Thomas.
