HUMBOLDT — Leon D. “Butch” Kleiss, 90, of Humboldt, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and close friend on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital.

He is survived by his children, Sheryl (Thomas) Piskel of Spokane, Washington and Jeffrey (Christine) Kleiss of Humboldt, five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Georgena, his parents and his sister Vada Ganske. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 20th from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. at Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt. Burial will be held at a later date.
