SHEILA TAYLOR

LYTTON — Sheila Rae Taylor, 53, of Lytton, died Friday, June 21, 2019, at UnityPoint Trinity Regional Medical Center.

A service honoring Sheila’s life will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 27, at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dan Kahl officiating. Interment will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.

Sheila is survived by her sons, Austen Orth, Zachary Orth and Tyler McPherson; two grandchildren, Hayden and Ava; her mother Marjorie Eastwood; her siblings, Todd (Kim) Eastwood, Tonya (Mike) Lawler, her twin sibling Steven (Laura) Eastwood; her husband Jim Taylor, her honorary daughter Khylea Wisthoff, her step daughter Amanda Cairney, her former husbands with whom she stayed very close, Kirk Cairney and Terry McPherson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Jim Eastwood, both families of grandparents and her beloved dog Lexi.

Sheila Rae Eastwood, the daughter of Jim and Marjorie (Samuelson) Eastwood, was born October 26, 1965, in Fort Dodge. She attended Fort Dodge schools. Sheila lived in Arizona before returning to Fort Dodge in 1994. She worked in the restaurant business in many roles and for the past 14 years worked at Tom Thumb Drive-Inn, where she will be greatly missed.

Sheila will be remembered for her love of all animals and for her free spirit. She especially treasured her children and grandchildren.
