She was born and lived most of her 80 years in Duncombe, Iowa. She was united in marriage in 1960, and from this union she had 3 daughters, they later divorced.

Mother was the kindest, most humble and hard working woman we knew. Always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

She loved her Friday night card club and all her co-workers and ladies she volunteered with. She was a lifelong member of the Washington Lutheran Church in Duncombe where she was baptized and confirmed. She taught Sunday School there as well.

She loved her family dearly and those left to cherish her memories are her Daughters: Debra (Steve) Griggs, Denise Simpson, Doreen Simpson (Jason Jackson), Brothers: Richard Snell and LeRoy Snell, Grandchildren: Lynsey (Cory) Froisland, Kyle Niemier, Adam Niemier, Great Granddaughters: Evelyn, Sophie and Isabella Froisland (who were the light of her life!) Nephew: Jeff Johnson, Niece: Joni (Jeff) Burrell, Great Nieces and Nephews: Christopher (Tabitha) Johnson, Danyel McFarland, Jill Burrell, Great Great Nieces and Nephews: Lilly, Eli and Ella Johnson, KayDee, JayLee and Bryce McFarland.

She was preceded in death by her Parents Charles and Mae (Davidson) Snell, Sister Berta Johnson, Brothers Norman Snell and Eldon Snell, and Brother-in-law Dee Johnson.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the Washington Lutheran Church, 601 Wagner St, in Duncombe, IA. Burial will be in the Washington Lutheran Cemetery. A luncheon will follow immediately after the burial at the church.
