MICHAEL F. MICHALSKI

A visitation Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at the chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home.

Michael is survived by his children Jodie Michalski, of Fort Dodge; Katie (Aaron) Schmidtke and Samantha Jones both of Des Moines; Michael Jones of Palm Bay, FL; grandchildren Madelyn and Lauryn Sweeny; La’nyiah, Quattro Bernstein, Alexander Poe; father, Fred Michalski of Fort Dodge; brother Tim (Deb) Michalski of Clare; sisters Christine Ann Schumacher of Ankeny; and Angela Clement of Fort Dodge.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorena (Hay) Michalski.

Michael Fredrick Michalski was born June 4, 1955 in Fort Dodge. He attended school in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High. In November of 1977 he was united in marriage to Tammy Bennett in Fort Dodge. To this union a daughter, Jodie, was born. The couple made their home in Ankeny. The couple later divorced. In September of 1985 he was united to marriage to Terrie (Darby) Spencer. To this union two daughters, Katie and Samantha; and a son, Michael were born. The couple made their home in Coalville. He was in the trucking business for a number of years working for Crouse Cartage for a period of time and later as a long haul semi-truck driver for many years.
