SHARON ANN HEDEEN
Sharon Ann Hedeen, 67, of Fort Dodge passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 9th, 2016 at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Dan Kahl officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church. Arrangements have been entrusted with Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
Sharon was born in Fort Dodge on March 17, 1949 to James and Helen (Bales) Hedeen. She grew up in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1967. She was united in marriage to Keith Eldridge and together they raised two children and later divorced. Sharon worked for Greenleaf Care Center and Friendship Haven and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She loved spending time with her family whether it was her grandchildren or her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed collecting Santa Clauses and Angels as well as sewing, making afghans and working outdoors.
Sharon is survived by her daughters Kerrie (Kevin) Kuiper of Burnside, IA and Kellie Landero of Fort Dodge; grandchildren Kierra, Ana and Angelina Eldridge, Manuel, Keith and Carlos Landero, Katie Nekvinda, Amanda Harvey and Jenna Kuiper; 10 great-grandchildren; her siblings Albert Hedeen of Raleigh, NC, Butch (Becky) Hedeen of Indianola, IA, Sandi Hedeen of Fort Dodge, Sheila (Dave) Schrader of Fort Dodge, Michelle Johanson of Britt, IA, James (Lori) Hedeen of Early, IA and Matthew Hedeen of Fort Dodge; sisters-in-law Janet Eldridge of Fremont, NE and Laurie Hedeen of Duncombe, IA and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Helen Hedeen; her sister Wanda Lane; her brother Steve Hedeen and her nephew Danny Lee.
