PAUL L. BIROCCI

Paul was born November 18, 1952 in Fort Dodge, IA, to Libero and Helen (Kolacia) Birocci. He received his Master’s Degree in Education from Drake University and began a 35-year teaching career. He taught high school social studies and coached softball and basketball in Woodbine and Des Moines Public Schools until recently retired. Paul was a Hawkeye and Drake fan.

Survivors include his wire, Linda; mother, Helen; daughters; Lisa (Andy) Banse of State College, PA, Kristin (Collin) Davison of Garner; grandchildren: Luca and Bianca Banse, Drake and Caden Davison; brother, Randy (Sue) Birocci of Hinton; sister, Jeanne (John) Raine of Humboldt; and many nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his father Libero and sister, Mary Ann Haase.
