KENNETH W. ZIERKE
ROCKWELL CITY – Kenneth W. Zierke 89, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the Sunny Knoll Care Centre. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 16, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, east of Rockwell City, with Pastor Chadric Dietrich officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Fort Dodge, with Military Graveside Rites conducted by the Rockwell City Veterans Organization. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Dorothy; son Kendall (Lisa) Zierke of Prescott, AZ; step-daughters, Jeanie (Dan) Zehr of Manson, and Lynne (Steve) Hansen of Audubon; step-son Gary (Kathy) Sheely of Sapulpa, OK; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way; and brother Keith (Joan) Zierke of Urbandale. He was preceded in death by his first wife Marie; great-granddaughter Audra Eileen Zehr; his parents, Theodore H. and Anna Mesenbrink Zierke; and sister Deloris Hepp.
