DAVID E. HUBBARD

WEBSTER CITY – David E. Hubbard, 44, of Moorland, a former Webster City resident, died Thursday, April 11, 2013 following a single vehicle accident near Barnum. A Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Foster Chapel, with Rev. Suzie Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday.

David Eugene Hubbard, son of Francis and Marilyn West Hubbard, was born August 27, 1968 at Fort Dodge. He received his education in the Webster City school system, graduating in 1986, he also attended the University of Northern Iowa. On December 10, 1994, he married Amy Kristine Dahlhauser at Webster City. The couple resided at Webster City. He had been employed at Fareway, Tasler’s, Life Investors, Electrolux and Riley Armstrong Plumbing and Heating at Fort Dodge as office manager.

He is survived by his daughter and two sons, Carly, Cale and Colton Hubbard, all of Webster City; parents, Frank and Marilyn Hubbard of Webster City; sister and brother-in-law, Kris and Ken Wright of Cedar Rapids; nephew and niece, Andrew and Isabelle Wright of Cedar Rapids; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and super dog, Maverick.

Dave was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Louise and Ray West and paternal grandparents, Doris and Francis (Red) Hubbard.

Dave was a race car driver (#5), a member of the Hamilton County Speedway Racing Association board, a Vikings football fan and enjoyed all Iowa State sports.
