Foundation donates 22 tons of pork to families in need
The Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation and Iowa Select Farms donated 8,436 pork loins totaling 151,848 servings to help fight food insecurity in rural Iowa. The pork was delivered last summer to 84 food pantries, community organizations and shelves across Iowa. Among the stops were UDMO Webster County, Lord’s Cupboard, and Holy Trinity Catholic Food Pantry in Fort Dodge, Iowa. These pantries collectively received 360 pork loins totaling 6,480 servings of pork. Iowa Select Farms employees are pictured.
