Christ Lutheran Church, 2220 10th Ave N., will host its Palm Sunday potato bake buffet from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $7 per adult and $3 for children 12 years and younger. The buffet includes a choice of toppings, dessert, and drink.
The possible dangers of some foods on supermarket shelves will be discussed at noon and 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lifetree Cafe. HUMBOLDT — Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church will hold its abelskiver breakfast from 10 to 11 a.m. Sunday at the church. The cost is $8 for adults, $4 for kids 10 and under. The menu includes abelskivers (Danish pancake balls), syrup, apple cider syrup, sausages and drinks. The funds raised will help support the church’s youth trip to the National Gathering in Houston, Texas, this summer.

STRATFORD — The Stratford Methodist Church will hold a fried chicken dinner from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 25 at the church in Stratford. The menu includes fried chicken, real mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, salad bar, homemade rye bread, dessert and a drink.
