CCS Pancake Breakfast Feb. 9

Community Christian School Athletic Department is holding its annual All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Feb. 9 in the CCS gym, 2406 Ninth and Half Ave. S. Pancakes, sausages, coffee, milk, and juice will be served. The Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) at the school will also be involved. Tickets purchased in advance are $5 for age 11 to adult and $3 for ages 3 through 10. Tickets at the door will be $6 for adults and $4 for children. Second Sunday Supper Feb. 10

LEHIGH — Lehigh Methodist Church will hold its Second Sunday Supper from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 10. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage links and a drink for a freewill donation. The public is invited.

Holy Trinity Roast Beef Dinner Jan. 27

Holy Trinity Parish annual roast beef dinner is 4 to 7 p.m. Jan. 27 at Corpus Christi Center, 403 N. Eighth St. Roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, roll, dessert and beverage will be served. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 4 to 10. Takeouts will be available.

Westside Church to have Share the Love outreach

The Westside Church of Christ, 1132 A St., will hold a Share the Love outreach event at 5 p.m. Feb. 2. The event will include a free dinner and entertainment. Tickets can be obtained by calling 955-3737 or emailing churchofchristws@gmail.com. Seating is limited, so church members encourage anybody interested in attending to get their tickets early. The event is the latest in a series of initiatives the congregation has taken to show love for its community. Aglow International to meet Jan. 19

Have you been given a bad report, told there is nothing more that can be done? Jim and Sharon Bangert, of Pocahontas, will share about a chapter of Jim’s “Life’s Journey.” Going from no hope, as Jim was put on total life support, to being the recipient of a miraculous healing. They will share that God is real and still performs miracles today. The event is hosted by Aglow International of Fort Dodge & Surrounding Area at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at the Fort Dodge Public Library, 424 Central Ave. Refreshments will be served.
