Christmas fair, luncheon at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Callender

CALLENDER — Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Callender will hold its annual Christmas fair and luncheon from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 7. The menu is chicken salad in a krum kaka bowl or a beefburger. Lunch includes salads and Scandinavian pastries. Tickets are $9 for fourth grade through adult; $4 for preschool through third grade, and children e and under eat free. Fair events include a bake sale, lefse sale, Christmas treasures and crafts.

Bazaar and soup lunch is Dec. 7 in Webster City

WEBSTER CITY — Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Webster City, is holding a bazaar and soup lunch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. The soup lunch tickets are $8 per person. Carryout soup will be available.

LEHIGH — The Lehigh Methodist Church will have a soup supper for its Second Sunday Supper from 5 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 8. The menu includes ham and bean soup, chicken noodle soup or broccoli cheese soup, desserts and drinks. Freewill donations will be accepted.

Trinity Singers to perform Christmas Cantata on Dec. 7-8

The Trinity Singers of Trinity United Methodist Church will present the annual Christmas Cantata at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 7 and 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 8. This year’s cantata is titled “Who’s That Baby?” and will feature the 30-member Trinity Singers as well as various solos by Rhonda Wiley, Jason Laird, Shari Netz, Nick Salmon, and Jacob Shelton. In addition, this year’s cantata will also include the Trinity Ringers Bell ensemble: Dee Murman on flute, Kevin Thompson on drums, Katrina O’Brien on piano, and congregation sing-alongs on various Christmas carols.
