Animal blessing Oct. 3
St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and Grace Lutheran Church are holding an animal blessing at 2 p.m. Oct. 3 in the St. Mark’s parking lot, 1007 First Ave. S. Bring your furry or feathered friends on their leashes or in their cages, and a lawn chair for yourself, to have those members of your family blessed. In the event of rain, the event will be held Oct. 10. There will be a charity box to help support Almost Home and the homeless animals in need. For more information, call 576-2019.
