Badger Lutheran Church is celebrating their 150th anniversary today and Sunday.

The church was founded in 1870, but along with many things, the celebration of their 150th anniversary in 2020 was postponed to this year.

The celebration includes an open house at the church on Saturday, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Ice Cream with various toppings, and Norwegian treats of lefse, kringla and spritz cookies will be served while offering an opportunity to walk around the church and see various Norwegian and historical items on display.

The celebration continues on Sunday with a church service at 9 a.m. and coffee hour at 10 am.

A lunch of pulled pork, baked beans and potato salad will be served in the dining room starting at 11 am.

Everyone is welcome to attend the festivities and help Badger Lutheran Church celebrate this historic event.
