Corpus Christi to open for private prayer
Holy Trinity Parish will open Corpus Christi Church, 402 N. Eighth St., for private prayer twice a week as the first step in opening to the public.
The prayer service will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning June 16 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Limited space will be open and COVID-19 guidelines will be followed, including use of mask required.
Volunteers will be at Corpus Christi Church to monitor and also to ensure that pews are sanitized after people leave the pew and before the next person utilizes the pew for prayer.
A time request of up to 15 minutes of prayer per person is recommended so as to allow others the opportunity for prayer.
