Soup Cook-Off set for Sunday
The youth of Trinity United Methodist Church are sponsoring a Soup Cook-Off from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the church, 828 N. 25th St. This is a fundraiser for the youth to raise money for their trip to Kentucky next summer to tour the life-size Ark and the Creation Museum. This event is open to the public. All are invited to come and sample the various soups made by members of the congregation and then given the opportunity to cast their votes for their favorites. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for kids 5-12 years of age.
