FD residents attend Lutheran missionary convention
Fort Dodge residents Mary Rosburg, Susan Macek and Ann McBride attended the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League convention from June 20 to June 23 in Mobile, Alabama.
Rosburg served as a delegate to the convention.
They were among 3,104 people at the gathering.
The delegates adopted a $2.1 million mission goal for 2019 to 2021 that would fund 21 initiatives in the United States and around the world. The Lutheran Women’s Missionary league is the official women’s auxiliary of the Lutheran Church — Missouri Synod.
