Registration open for CrossWay Church Perspectives class

Registration is open for a Perspectives class that will be offered this winter at CrossWay Church.

The class, which is open to the public, will feature teaching, learning activities, prayer, and snacks.

It is taught by 15 different instructors who walk participants through the Biblical, historical, cultural, and strategic aspects of Missions.

The instructors come from all over the country and vary from pastors to missionaries to professors.

Aaron McHone, of Fort Dodge, and his wife Holly McHone are hosting the class.

According to Aaron McHone, Perspectives is an organization that offers courses throughout the United States.

It is taught at the college level and can be taken for a college or seminary credit through Trinity International University.

The class will meet Sundays at CrossWay Church, 3058 10th Ave. N., from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Classes begin on Jan. 13. and will run through April 28.

The course costs $250 to cover the cost of the instructors.

Scholarships are available for those who cannot afford the full price.

A $25 early bird registration discount for anyone who registers before Dec. 15 and a household discount of $50 off the second registration in the same household.

Child care will be provided at no additional cost. While the course is offered in English, the Reader is published in English, Spanish, Korean, and several other languages.
