Getting ready for the big game will be the theme of the upcoming Vacation Bible School at Rolling Hills Community Church in Fort Dodge.

As kids get ready for the big game, they will learn that God has already equipped them with everything they need, according to organizers of the Vacation Bible School.

The school will be in session from July 30 to Aug. 3 at the church, 2891 N. 15th St. It is for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. There is no charge to attend.

A pre-registration carnival will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. July 29 at the church. At that carnival, parents can enroll their children in the Vacation Bible School. While the parents are doing that, the children can play carnival games, get in the jumpy house, get their faces painted and enjoy refreshments.

The school begins July 30. It will be from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily through Aug. 3.

The week will be filled with Bible lessons, music, crafts, snacks and recreation.
