Craig Blomberg, a world famous New Testament scholar, will lead a weekend of teaching at CrossWay Church in Fort Dodge Oct. 7 and Oct. 8.

Blomberg is one of the foremost scholars of the Bible in the world today. He is Distinguished Professor of New Testament at Denver Seminary, where he has served for more than 30 years. He has written and edited 20 books including The Historical Reliability of the Gospels, A Handbook of New Testament Exegesis, and several commentaries.

The morning of Oct. 7, starting at 9a.m., he will lead two seminars on Contagious Holiness, a look at how Jesus participated in meals with sinners. In sharing one of the most basic practices of life — food and drink — Jesus invited all people to share in the grace of God.

On the morning of Oct. 8, Blomberg will preach on the book of Luke during CrossWay’s morning worship services and will teach on the historical reliability of the scriptures during the adult Sunday School hour.

The event is free to the public and takes place at 3058 10th Avenue North, inside the CrossWay Church Worship Center. All are welcome, and no need to RSVP.
