Fort Dodge man charged with sexual abuse A Fort Dodge man has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing a 13-year-old, according to court records. Shawn M. Kirkegaard, 34, of 1138 S. 20th St. was arrested by Fort Dodge police and charged with two counts of second degree sexual abuse and two counts of lasicivious acts, touch genitals to any part of a child’s body, criminal complaints filed against him state.
