Humboldt County man sent to federal prison on gun charge A Bode man is headed to federal prison for eight years after pleading guilty to a gun crime, prosecutors reported. Lawrence Moore, 37, pleaded guilty in April to possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Iowa. Drug, weapon charges send man to prison for 25 years A Dakota City man has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for drug and weapons charges, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Iowa. In April, Nathan Nickless, 40, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine after having been previously convicted of a serious drug felony, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and failure to appear.
