Area woman charged in human trafficking case A woman has been charged with sexually trafficking a 14-year-old girl from Fort Dodge, according to the Iowa Department of Public Safety. Amanda J. Goff, 41, of Belmond, was arrested by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and charged with first degree human trafficking, the department reported. Woman pleads guilty in assault case A Fort Dodge woman received jail time and a fine after entering a guilty plea in a case in which she was accused of going into an apartment and hitting the woman who lived there, according to court records.
