Student charged in Humboldt school fire HUMBOLDT — A student at Humboldt Middle School has been charged with setting a fire in the school. The fire was discovered at about 8 a.m. April 14 in a bathroom at the school, located at 1400 Wildcat Road, according to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office. The building was evacuated and a staff member put out the fire with an extinguisher.
