Two hurt in
Highway 20 pileup
MOORLAND — Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 20 in Webster County Thursday evening.
The crash was reported at 5:27 p.m. in the eastbound lanes near Hayes Avenue. One of the vehicles was a semitrailer that ended up in the ditch on the south side of the highway, leaving its load of hay bales scattered about.
The crash remained under investigation by the Webster County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa State Patrol Thursday night.
The Moorland Fire Department and ambulances from the Fort Dodge Fire Department also responded.
Police seek information on shots fired incident
A shooting incident Wednesday night in Fort Dodge caused property damage but no injuries.
Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Eighth Avenue South at 8:49 p.m. for a report of shots fired. Officers found evidence of shots being fired, and property damage to multiple objects.
