A Fort Dodge woman has been charged with breaking into an apartment and attacking the man who lives there with a baseball bat, according to court records.

According to criminal complaints filed against her, Wever broke a bedroom window at an apartment in the 2200 block of 2 1/2 Avenue North at 5:14 a.m. Wednesday. She then entered the apartment armed with a baseball bat and struck the man repeatedly with the bat. The man suffered injuries to his arms, face and neck, police reported.
