FD man charged in stabbing incident
A Fort Dodge man was arrested for stabbing a woman with a filet knife during a domestic fight early Sunday morning.
A report on the woman’s condition was not available.
Damon L. Gully, 45, of 317 S. Eighth St., was arrested by Fort Dodge police and charged with domestic abuse assault, second offense.
The incident happened at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of South Eighth Street. According to the criminal complaint filed against Gully, he used a filet knife to cut the victim and stabbed her in the left leg.
He made his initial appearance in Webster County Magistrate Court Monday morning. His preliminary hearing was set for Jan. 2.
Magistrate William H. Habhab set bond for Gully at $2,000 cash only.
