FDPD investigating shots fired incident

The Fort Dodge Police Department is investigating an incident in the 700 block of South 19th Street.

According to a release from the department, multiple gunshots were reported in the area shortly before 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday. When officers arrived, they spoke with witnesses and found physical evidence of the shots fired. No injuries or property damage were reported.

The FDPD is continuing to investigate the incident and encourages any residents in the area with video security to contact the department with video footage they may have.
